The Wagga Wagga Senior Citizens Computer Club was formed in 2009 as a sub club of Wagga Wagga Senior Citizens’ Club Inc.

In August, 2009 the Wagga Wagga Senior Citizens’ Computer Club was accepted as a member of the ASCCA (Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association)

In September, 2009 Club Secretary Paddy Adams on behalf of Wagga Wagga Citizens’ Club Inc. signed an agreement with NEC Australia to host a ‘Broadband for Seniors Kiosk’.

In October 2009 our first newsletter called ‘Crowabout’ was produced for the Computer Club, but by December 2010 it was decided that it should represent the Club as a whole, i.e., Wagga Wagga Senior Citizens’ Club Inc.

Since then, with the backing of Wagga Wagga City Council through Community Grants we have been able to add further computers and equipment and provide an internet service to senior citizens within the Community Centre.

Wagga Wagga Senior Citizens’ Computer Club has four tutors who are available for one on one computer tuition during the three days a week the Club operates at the Wagga Community Centre in Tarcutta Street, Wagga.

The Computer Club's hours of operation are Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9.30am to 3.00 pm.

Seniors are invited to make an appointment for a training session by phone during those hours at 69216980 (Seniors Community Centre) or Barry Williams after 5.00pm at 69253065
